Tips for Attending the Halloween Creepy Crawl at Fota House

If you're planning to attend the Halloween Creepy Crawl at Fota House, here are some tips to ensure a memorable and stress-free experience:

Book Early

The Halloween Creepy Crawl is a popular event and sells out fast, especially on weekends. Be sure to book your tickets in advance to secure your preferred date and time. Do keep an eye on the Fota House social media pages for updates on time slots, for example, this year they allowed walk-ins, which was great for unprepared people like myself to still go and enjoy the event!

Dress for the Weather

October weather can be chilly and unpredictable, so dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes for walking. While costumes are encouraged, make sure they’re warm enough for the outdoor setting. If it's been raining, I highly recommend dressing little ones in all-in-one outdoors suits and wellies.

Arrive Early

Arriving early allows you to enjoy the event before the evening crowds and to also secure a parking space, because the car park fills up quite quickly, especially when the nearby Fota Wildlife Park is also busy. You’ll also have more time to explore the house and gardens which can be especially helpful if you’re bringing young children.
