As you may have seen on the blog and my social media, my little boy Tyler Lee turned three this week. I honestly still can't believe that I have a three year old, it's amazing how quickly the little ones grow up. His birthday was a complete washout so our planned outing has had to be put on hold, hopefully we can do it this weekend.
Nevertheless, he was delighted with his day at the soft play and all the surprises he received throughout the day. He took delight in telling me he had a nice day and ultimately, that's all that mattered to me, that he had fun.
His birthday cake this year was Peter Rabbit themed and I'm happy to say that he really did love it. I was delighted with how it turned out, the girl who did it really outdid herself with all the decoration and the plain sponge with strawberries and cream filling was just to die for.
Instead of a birthday candle we had a number three sparkler which I picked up in Tesco for like 70c, it was great fun for Tyler Lee.
The cake was so lovely that I just wanted to write this quick post and share some pictures, just in case there are any other Peter Rabbit lovers out there who are looking for some birthday inspiration.
