A Beautiful Teddy Bears Picnic Birthday Cake

A week ago it was Beau's 4th birthday and with lockdown making any kind of birthday party or day out impossible, we decided to have a teddy bears picnic birthday for him. Just look at his amazing teddy bears picnic birthday cake!

We weren't planning on getting him a big fancy birthday cake this year, but considering the fact that his birthday wasn't going to be anything we had originally planned, we thought a designed cake would be a great birthday treat for him - and it didn't disappoint!

Jacek decided on the teddy bears picnic theme, which I thought was really sweet. It's no secret that Beau loves his teddy - even to this day he sleeps with it every night and I hope that's something that won't change for a long time.

Beau has had some amazing cakes over the years and this teddy bears picnic cake is no exception. The detail on it was absolutely stunning and I had to take some pictures and record it here on the blog for us all to look back on in years to come.

Not only was his birthday cake absolutely beautiful, it tasted amazing too with it's lemon sponge and lemon buttercream - always lemon for our summer baby. It was nice and light, not heavy like other cakes we've had and we all enjoyed it, especially the birthday boy himself.

Beau actually squealed when he saw his birthday cake and we were delighted he loved it so much. It definitely made his lockdown birthday a little bit more special.

Seeing my child's smile, I knew that hosting this birthday party was the right decision. This party will likely remain a cherished memory for him forever. I also prepared some gifts to ensure this day would be a special one. One of the personalised gifts I recommend is custom lapel pins. Pins designed around your child's favourite animal will forever preserve these beautiful moments as precious keepsakes.

Even if the balloons deflate and the cake is gone, this little pin will still remind your child of the joy and love of that day. GSJJ also offers many more creative designs to help you create unique and wonderful memories for your child. See more at GSJJ.com.au.

We can't believe our littlest boy is 4!
