Taking your first holiday abroad as a family can be stressful – just the idea of planning and organising could put you off altogether. But, if you're brave enough to tackle it (and prepared for flying with your little ones) the experience can be incredibly rewarding and provide the relaxing break your family needs – just like our first family trip abroad to the Algarve.
If you're worried about flying with your kids at such a young age, then you can always consider an Ireland or UK break for your
first holiday, where you can load up the car and travel at your own pace, with car ferries available to take you to the neighbouring island. At the end of the day, you know your family best, so don't push for a holiday abroad until you feel like you and your kids can handle it.
However, if your children are a little older and you'd like to explore further afield, then Dubai is a great choice. Not only is this a place visited by the wealthy in search of designer brands and luxury experiences, but with beautiful beaches and lots of things to do,
it also offers everything a family could want from a holiday.
Dubai is also a fabulous destination for those wanting to catch some winter sun. There are so many things to do in Dubai this winter, making it a great place to escape the wind and rain of Ireland and the UK!
I would love to visit Dubai one day and experience all it has to offer myself. The man-made islands look amazing as do the beaches and I bet my boys would love it there too.
Here are some more reasons why Dubai is a great family holiday destination.
Not Your Average Package Holiday
finding suitable places to eat. However, Dubai offers a different kind of holiday with water parks, safaris, camel rides, indoor skiing, underwater zoos and the Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building). There are lots of amazing places to eat, such as Square Meal UAE and so much more on offer. There are tons of attractions in Dubai to amuse the whole family, which is great because there's nothing worse than your kids complaining that they're bored - especially when on holiday!
There's So Many Beaches
It's Incredibly Friendly

Never been to Dubai before but I know a mum who moved there with her 2 children from Ireland. I'd love to visit. but I don't think hubby would approve because of the heat. I'm used to it and I don't mind.
