I am a lipstick addict, I have lots of different lipsticks which I wear on a regular basis, others are 'special' lipsticks, mostly worn on rare ocassion but loved nonetheless. As part of our beauty box swap my pal from America sent me two Wet n Wild lipsticks, 'Dollhouse Pink' being one. 'Dollhouse Pink' is a bright pink shade, almost what I imagine to be 'Barbie' pink. It is so vibrant and gives a great, bright pink colour to the lips. What I like about this lipstick is that the pigmentation on the lips actually looks like the colour on the stick. Far too many times I've been fooled by a swatch on the hand or just by looking at a lipstick thinking that's the shade it's going to be only for it to be lighter or darker than what I imagined so I was happy to see this shade was true to the stick.
This lipstick is matte and glides easily onto the lips and does not dry them out unlike other well known brands out there. What I did find though is that it gathers in the creases on the lips, not good if your lips are any bit dry, which mine always seem to be these days. It also is not smooch or touch proof and transfers easily. Other than that I think this is a great lipstick in a bright, daring shade, one to wear out in the evening and perfect for the summer. I wouldn't wear this shade as a daytime look, I think the colour is too 'out there' for that but I do think it's a beautiful colour. I have worn this 'Dollhouse Pink' a couple of times now, I used it as part of my Bright Eyes & Ombre Lips makeup look & in my latest YouTube video. I would love to try more Wet n Wild products in the future as I think they're really good quality. I shall review the other Wet n Wild lipstick I received 'Cherry Picker' when I've had a chance to wear it.
