Living Arrows project, a photography project to capture an image which
represents childhood to you through the actions, likes, dislikes, looks
and movements of your own children. Below is my picture for the nineteenth week of Living Arrows. The moments before my boy goes to sleep are some of my nicest with him. I see a different side to him, he's serene, sleepy, thoughtful and oh so adorable. I love the way he lies on his pillow and looks out at me through the bars of his cot, clutching his little bunny friend by the leg for some comfort before he lulls off into a deep sleep for the night. I love this picture. The light was perfect, the mood was perfect and my little babe was just perfect. Ordinary moments like these are wonderful, they make me fall in love with my boy over and over again.

He does look very peacful and completely relaxed. He looks so content and I can just imagine his eyes slowly closing as he loses himself to his dreams. #livingarrows

What a lovely pic, I know what you mean, I wake my son up before I go to bed for a toilet visit (trying to get him dry at night) and when I put him back in bed I sit and gaze at him for a few moments 🙂

What a beautiful photo. He is looking directly at you, but the clues are there that he is so close to sleep. I too love the moments like this that remind me of the wonder of being a mummy.
