The Newest Addition To Tyler Lee's Library - The Little Boy Who Lost His Name ♥

I've made no secret of my love of books and how I've wanted to build a little library for my son even before he was born so when I find a book which is both a great read and personal to my little boy I am beyond thrilled. Tyler Lee, the lucky little boy that he is, was recently sent a gorgeous, personalised book from the wonderful people at Lost My Name called 'The Little Boy Who Lost His Name'. This book is gorgeously done and illustrated in bright, eye-catching designs which are sure to keep any little one's imaginations running wild whilst they are being read the story or in fact, reading it themselves once they're a bit older. The plot of the book follows a little boy who wakes up one morning and has lost his name. He goes in search of it meeting a whole host of weird and wonderful creatures and characters along the way and in the case of our book the name the little boy is searching for is Tyler Lee. In our book the little boy encounters a troll, yeti, lion, eagle, robot, a hole in the ground, an elephant and a rainbow with a pot of gold at the end - can't you just see how imaginative it is! My favourite pages are of the rainbow and it's pot of gold, the colours are fantastic and I do have a penchant for rainbows!

I think they way in which this book is done is a great aid in helping children to learn to spell their name as it causes anticipation for them on what letter/creature comes next in the story. I love everything about this book, it's unique and personal to my son, it's a book which will act as a keepsake for him. The printing on it is great quality and I love the shape of the book along with it's card-like paper. The illustrations are lovely and I love the fantasy of the story. The book even has a 'Dear Tyler Lee' page which I think is such a sweet touch and makes it something to be truly treasured.

The Lost My Name website is super simple to navigate too, you simply pop in your child's name and their gender and after a few seconds the website generates the story of your child's name and how they eventually find it at the end of the book. This book would be such a sweet present for a newborn baby, acting as a keepsake of their name until they're old enough to be read to or even as a birthday gift. I must admit I had a great library as a little girl. My mum used to read me everyday before my nap (I hated that part), but I never had a personalized book. That's a really great keepsake. <3
