It's no secret that I love dresses, in fact, they're the only thing I really wear as I'm not a big fan of jeans and trousers. I recently got this beautiful floral garden party dress from a brand which was a new find for me, Joe Browns and aren't I glad I stumbled across them! In my opinion Joe Browns clothes have a very unique, vintage style feel to them and this dress is no exception. The dress itself is very pretty and with it's blue background with floral print design it has a shabby chic feel to it which I love. It has a cowl neck which can be worn in many different ways and I think it adds something different to the dress. The bodice is panelled and fits great on the bust but is quite loose on the back and the waist for me, as you can probably see in the above pictures, as I've lost some weight recently. The back is shirred which adds another lovely element to the dress, all the little embellishments on this dress make it something truly special. Another great element that I love in this dress are it's side pockets, I love having pockets in my dresses so this was great to see and they're quite deep too so you can actually pop your phone in them. The biggest selling point for me with this dress was the fabric, the design is just beautiful and absolutely perfect for summer, the blue is more vibrant in person, it's stunning. I wish I had gotten the smaller size in this dress so I would urge you not to be cautious with sizes if you plan on purchasing anything from the Joe Browns range, their clothes are proper sizes. I think if I had gotten the smaller size in this dress it would have been nipped in at the waist more giving me a better shape. I kept the outfit simple with a pair of tan coloured wedges, a silver bracelet and my baby blue ring. I love this dress and shall be wearing it a lot this summer.
