I just wanted to pop up this post to show you all my boy's first ever 'proper' shoes which he got on Wednesday. With Tyler Lee being 13 months old this week his father and I decided that it was high time he got a proper pair of shoes. Gone are the soft baby shoes which seemed to do nothing but fall off and on are the sturdy, grip sole shoes which will aid him in learning to walk on his own - he is so close! The minute he put on the shoes in the shop he took my hands, stood firmly on his legs and walked a bit, something which he had stopped doing for a while so I was delighted to see them benefiting him the minute he put them on. I bought these shoes for him in Clarks and these are from their 'pre-walkers' range, shoes made for the cruising stage. These shoes are such great quality and made from real leather. The soles are still quite soft so they won't damage his little feet while they're growing. There were only three colours available from this range and I picked the navy as I think they'll match his clothes better and plus I thought this pair were so retro and classic looking, very 'Duffer of St. George' as his godmother said and his father calls them his 'boating shoes'. These shoes are so smart and are really helping Tyler Lee's walking. I can't believe my little baby has proper big boy type shoes, how time has flown!
