Shiseido - New Launches For Spring/Summer 2014 ♥

I always love trying out new makeup products, especially when they're from a brand which I love. I recently tried out three new products from the Shiseido spring/summer 2014 collection - the Face Colour Enhancing Trio in 'Apple', Global Sun Care UV Protective Liquid Foundation SPF 30 and the Perfect Hydrating BB Cream and I'm delighted to report that I was super impressed with these products, especially the Liquid Foundation, I've even converted my mother to using this foundation, it's amazing. Let me tell you more about these fabulous offerings from Shiseido for spring/summer 2014.

The Perfect Hydrating BB Cream €38, is the best BB cream I have ever tried. I was really put off BB creams before by the ones I tried, their formulas weren't for me and they were always orange but this BB cream is amazing. Mine is in shade Light and suits my complexion really well, it's a great shade for fair Irish skin. It applies to the face really well and doesn't cake or look uneven when applied which other liquid BB creams can appear like. This BB cream is extremely hydrating and feels lightweight on the skin, I actually don't feel this on my skin at all, the formula is lovely to wear. This BB cream leaves my skin with a gorgeous healthy glow and I even got compliments on my skin whilst wearing this which definitely sealed my approval on this product. Perfect Hydrating BB Cream contains SPF 30 making it the perfect BB cream to wear during the summer. This is one of the highest SPF's that I've seen available in makeup so I am super impressed.

 Global Sun Care UV Protective Liquid Foundation SPF 30 €33, is a highly moisturising liquid foundation that gives a gorgeous healthy, dewy looking finish to the face. This foundation comes with a super soft sponge in it's own separate case which is perfect for application. The coverage is medium and is quite buildable, in my opinion it gives an airbrushed type effect to the skin and I can't stop raving about this foundation! It's extremely long lasting and is water and transfer resistant which is perfect for me as I can't stand getting foundation stains on anything. This foundation is available in three colours, mine being Medium Ivory which is a perfect fit for my skin colour. This foundation also contains the very high SPF 30 making it the perfect foundation to protect again sun damage and also be anti-ageing. 

Face Colour Enhancing Trio in 'Apple' €38, is a multi-colour, multi-functional face powder that can be used to create a blush, highlighted and contoured effect. My shade 'Apple' is described as 'feminine, healthy and sun-kissed' and I think that sums it up perfectly. It comes with a gorgeous fawn colour which is perfect for shading and contouring the face, a rosy colour blush which gives a healthy glow to the cheeks and a very light pink shade which is great for highlighting the face. I like to sweep all three of these shades onto the brush provided with the palette and brush them in a circular motion on my cheeks, it gives a lovely rosy glow to my face and is actually a perfect trio for spring/summer. The other shades available in this palette are 'Lychee', 'Peach' and 'Plum'.

I am in love with these products, they've made their way into my everyday makeup bag and I've been using them everyday since I got them switching between the BB cream for more casual days and the Liquid Foundation for when I'm going out. The Face Colour Enhancing Trio is perfect for everyday wear and is buildable to give a more dramatic look for nights out, it's so versatille, I love it. I love the offerings by Shiseido for spring/summer 2014 and would love to try out more of the collection, the products are amazing!
