Bigjigs Toys Clothes Airer & Cake Stand | Review ♥

*We were sent these toys for the purposes of this feature, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% my own.

Play pretend is Tyler's favourite mode of play. He loves to immerse himself in imaginary situations, pretend he's a grown up and play house - so much so that two Christmases ago he was given his very own playhouse, to be shared with his little brother of course.

The playhouse is one of his favourite places to play. He has two kitchens in there, his little washing machines and dishwasher, lots of play food and kitchen equipment and it even has an upstairs which he calls the bedroom.

I love adding to their 'boys club' of a playhouse anytime I see something adorable for it and last week the boys were sent some very sweet wooden toys to enjoy, courtesy of Bigjigs Toys. Bigjigs Toys is a family run business that offers the loveliest range of toys, a lot of them wooden. It's toys like this that I favour most as they have quite a classic look and appeal to them and they're not only great fun for the boys to play with, but quite pretty to look at too.

The boys were sent the clothes airer (£28.99), which Tyler and his friend have had great fun with. He's been using it to hang out his washing after it's dry and is delighted to be able to peg all his little clothes and cloths up on the line.

It did require some quick assembly, but once it's up it's up and it's small enough to fit inside the playhouse for storage too - I like it to be outside for him to let his clothes dry in the sun. It's such a sweet toy and the fact that his best friend loved it too just speaks volumes to how great it is for kids to play with and pretend they're doing the washing with.

The boys were also sent the cake stand with 9 cakes (£16.99) which is one of the sweetest play food sets I have ever seen! This is such an adorable little set featuring a doughnut, macarons, battenburg, a chocolate muffin and other delicious treats, the boys pretend they're having tea and sharing out the cakes.

Beau has a particular fondness for the Jammy Dodger biscuit and keeps bringing it to me! It's such a lovely addition to their playhouse and I leave it on the kitchen counter or table for them to make up their little tea scenarios.

The Bigjigs Toys range has lots of beautiful toys to offer and at such great prices too. I'll definitely be picking up a few more pieces from the play food and kitchen and housekeeping section for the boys for Christmas.

You really can't beat wooden toys and they are some of the loveliest the boys have ever had. I also love that they're encouraging them to use their imaginations too.
