Boys Bedroom Wallpaper From Lick

*This post is in collaboration with Lick.

Since we moved to our home in the country last November we have slowly been making it over and giving it a fresh new look. One recent decor addition we've made was adding wallpaper to our eldest son Tyler's room.

He has the biggest bedroom in the house and it has quite high ceilings, so I thought wallpaper would look lovely on the wall by his door.

We were sent wallpaper of our choice by Lick, makers of designer paint and wallpaper.

We decided on the Stripes 04 which is a blue and white stripe with quite a classic feel - very in keeping with our old farmhouse home.

Tyler's room has a sea and sky theme and is white, blue and navy, so the Lick wallpaper ties perfectly into this.

The wallpaper itself was easy to put up. I had never put up wallpaper before but my stepfather put it up with me and showed me what do to and the two of us managed fine. The stripes line up perfectly and make for easy application to the wall with paste.

I love the finished look and we have some wallpaper left over so we may wallpaper the wall by the window too - it'll be shorter because of the radiator in the way. It would be lovely to have the wallpaper on opposite walls I think.

The wallpaper goes beautifully with the old farmhouse door and we added a picture ledge to the wall, as well as a new chest of drawers and it's made for a lovely space within Tyler's room.

I highly recommend Lick if you're looking for wallpaper. The quality of the paper is great, it was easy to put up and the finished look is just beautiful.

The Lick Stripes 04 wallpaper is £75 per roll.

See this previous post on Tyler's room for more boys room inspiration.
