  4. When I'm decorating a bedroom I try to use muted colours, and keep everything plain with no patterns. I make make sure that there's not much on the walls, no clutter or knick knacks anywhere if I can. (Hard sometimes when you don't have much space, but I'd rather shove it all in another room if I can.) It creates a calmer environment that really feels like a place of rest.

  7. For me it is all about cushions and your bedside tables. I love my cushions I got in the sale super cheap it adds some glam to my bedroom! Also I love having a few ornaments and frames around to make it homely.

  8. hmmm bedroom decor inspiration...mine is a bit grim but I guess that lamps and fairy lights cheer it up and the soft light hides the 'grim'! haha!

  21. I love minimalist walls in my bedroom so I can go crazy with the bed. Funky colours, lots of throws pillows and cushions mean the bed is most definitely the focal point of my room, and so very cosy :)

  23. If you have bedroom furniture you don't like you can always upcycle it. Painting in fresh new colours can change the whole room.

  24. I am not a home decor expert 🙈 but I'm having an extension soon and a new bedroom so I'm thinking white walls and lots of textures, velvet, wool, faux fur, pretty lighting.

  25. Currently decorating my teenage daughter's room. We're going for brick effect on fireplace wall,some logs and fairy lights in the fireplace then pink soft furnishings, bean bags etc. Crushed velvet bedding and curtains and white furniture.

  27. Put some lucky bamboo shoots in a vase with coloured pebbles at the bottom. It really helps to bring some colour into the bathroom and the bamboo loves the humidty!

  34. My bedroom is very boho with lots of twinkly lighting as I hate bright lighting in a bedroom. I have stuck to calm colours as I want it to be relaxing at bedtime. Etsy is a great place to buy some unique bits for the decor.

  39. Paint the bedside cabinets the colour of the walls, two tones, one with the drawers in a darker shade and the rest light, and the other opposite, with light drawers and darker shade. It's quite aesthetically pleasing!
