A Luxurious Night's Stay at Chateau La Chaire, Jersey With Buyagift ♥

I was recently given a Buyagift voucher and choose their experience of a One Night Superior Break With Dinner at Chateau La Chaire in Jersey, Channel Islands (£299). I chose this experience so that we could experience something new on our annual stay in Jersey and I had heard so many wonderful things about Chateau La Chaire, which is voted one of the top hotels in Jersey.

I was impressed that the Buyagift voucher for Chateau La Chaire also included dinner and it seemed like a great value gift voucher for two people to share.

We arrived at Chateau La Chaire at 4p.m. and were immediately brought to our room after check-in. We very luckily were given the most requested room in the hotel, the Daisy room, room number 12, which very uniquely features a roll-top bath at the foot of the bed.

The decor in Chateau La Chaire is absolutely beautiful. It's got such a vintage feel to it and each room is done beautifully. The hotel really is like a boutique hotel and the drawing room was free for guests to enjoy at their own pleasure and had self-serve drinks and board games to enjoy.

The hotel also offers wellies for guests which I thought was a lovely touch as it's situated in Rozel which has a lovely beach and walks to explore.

We had afternoon tea in the hotel (paid for by ourselves) which was freshly prepared for us. Our server, Sonia, was so friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. We were delighted to see her again at dinner.

The afternoon tea was delicious but is expensive (£50 for two sharing), but was a real treat for us. We love afternoon tea and like to enjoy it whenever it's on offer where we're staying.

After a little explore of Rozel Bay were returned to our room to get ready for dinner. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. As well as the bath, the room featured a separate shower in the bathroom.

We were able to choose what time we wanted to have dinner and chose 7.45. We were brought to the drawing room to enjoy drinks before dinner and to choose what we wanted from the menu. We chose from the set menu as it appealed to us the most.

The dining room in Chateau La Chaire is absolutely beautiful and it was a lovely place to enjoy a meal. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the roasted tomato soup which I had for starters. We enjoyed everything we were served and I think the fact that the Buyagift voucher included dinner for two was such a treat.

After a lovely night's sleep - although the mattress in our room was a little harder than we're used to - we went for breakfast in the conservatory. This was delicious also with a range of hot and cold foods to choose from. The raspberry pastries were amazing!

We had such a lovely experience at Chateau La Chaire and I highly recommend the Buyagift voucher if you're in Jersey and want to experience a luxurious treat. It's such great value for money and we really enjoyed it.

I'll definitely use Buyagift for future gifts as I think gifting someone with an experience is much better than something materialistic. We have too much stuff at home so really appreciate gift experiences and adventures.
