A Beautiful Peter Rabbit 'Big Boy Bedroom' For Beau With Wayfair ♥

The time has come... Beau has moved out of his cot and is now sleeping in a big boy bed. I can't say it didn't make me a little emotional, I mean, this is the first time there's been no cot in our house for over six years and with no babies on the way, there won't be another one in our house for a couple of years at least. With this big milestone it was time to update Beau's bedroom a little bit and add some new items in there as part of the decor, as well as getting him his first proper bed.

Thankfully, Beau was able to move into a beautiful single bed thanks to Wayfair UK, who offer the most stunning furniture and decor for every room in the house. I joined their Home Experts Programme last month and am delighted to share some of their gorgeous offerings with you all.

Everyone knows how much I like classic styles and vintage themed things, so I wanted Beau's bed to have this kind of style to it too. I toyed with the idea of getting him a daybed, but in the end settled for a proper single bed with a beautiful metal frame - the Just Kids Ascot Single Bed With Platinum Mattress (£193.99). I love this bed so much that I'm contemplating getting one for Tyler too.

It's great that it comes with the mattress and the frame was so easy to put together, we all helped, even the boys! I love this bed frame so much. It has that gorgeous classic vintage feel to it and it's so sturdy. It's a bed that will do Beau for many years to come and I just love how it looks in his room.

The bedding I chose for Beau was the Zoomie Kids Jaydon Children Duvet Cover Set (£11.99). I fell in love with this as it reminds me of Peter Rabbit (it is in fact Billy Bunny and friends) and it has a lovely classic style to it. It's also reversible and has grey stars on the other side.

I thought this was perfect bedding for Beau who loves rabbits and who already has lots of rabbit/Peter Rabbit themed things around his bedroom.

It's so lovely with it's little illustrations of rabbits, trees, bunting, cake, etc. and I think it goes quite nicely underneath his tree mural - we're all about the outdoors in this household!

Wayfair UK actually have a lovely selection of Peter Rabbit themed decor on their site so I chose the Beatrix Potter Rabbit Cushion (£19.99) to sit decoratively on Beau's bed.

Finally, for Beau's bedside table, I chose the Beatrix Potter Mrs. Rabbit and Peter Figure (£11.99) as it's one of his favourite images from his Peter Rabbit books.

It's so sweet and is a lovely little decorative addition to his bedside table. I love that all these little Peter Rabbit items tie in with the print on his bedding too, it's all very sweet.

I love that Beau now has a 'big boy room' but still with the charm and innocence of childhood.

Beau very much approves of his new bed and the new additions to his bedroom. He was so excited by them all - as you can see and loved them so much that he slept in his new 'big boy bed' the same night we put it up! A parenting win for sure!

There are still some more little touches that I'd like to make to Beau's bedroom, such as more prints on the walls, etc. but for now it's looking lovely and I'm so glad he loves it too.
