Tyler & Beau's Christmas Eve Basket 2018 ♥

The Christmas Eve basket is an annual tradition of ours. I started this tradition back in 2014 for Tyler's 2nd Christmas and it's something I love putting together each year.

In previous years I put together elaborate baskets full of sweets and chocolate, but this year I wanted to do something a little different and concentrate on crafts and things for the boys to do rather than lots of treats.

In this years Christmas Eve Basket are -

Snow in the Garden by Shirley Hughes
Alfie's Christmas by Shirley Hughes
Tom & Lucy At Christmas by Shirley Hughes
Peter Rabbit: A Winter's Tale
A vehicle sounds book for Beau
Glittery Playdough
Blank card for painting
Chunky paint brushes
Paints
A wipe-down apron for painting
New pyjamas - Tyler's are from the Leigh Tucker Willow range at Dunnes Stores and Beau's are Peter Rabbit ones from Marks and Spencer
Peter Rabbit slippers for Beau
Slipper socks for both boys
A tube of Jelly Tots each
A packet of Kinder chocolates each

I love this little tradition of ours and it's so lovely seeing the boys go through their basket on Christmas Eve morning. Hopefully this years one will keep them entertained throughout the day and tire them out enough for Santa's imminent arrival!

Do you put together a Christmas Eve basket for your kids?
