Beau's 1st Birthday ♥

 On May 19th 2017 our beautiful baby boy Beau turned 1!

I can't quite believe that I have a one year old again. This past year with our cheeky, dreamy little love has gone by so quickly.

We've had so much fun and many adventures with him this past year and I'm so happy to have another little sweetheart boy in my life.

He is very much 'the baby', always being referred to as 'Baby Beau' by us all and I think he may always be the baby of our family, a role which he no doubt will enjoy.

I don't have birthday parties for my children, it's just personal preference. We prefer to have small family gatherings for the boys' birthdays and Beau's was no different. We actually had his little birthday get together in my grandparents house.

For his cake I of course had to get him Peter Rabbit - everyone knows how much I love Peter Rabbit and a lovely local cake maker outdid herself with his cake, it was stunning!

I also got him a personalised Peter Rabbit card and badge, as well as some Peter Rabbit themed birthday prints also which I put in white frames.

Everything looked so beautiful for my baby boy.

We didn't get Beau lots of gifts for his birthday, but the things we got him he loved a lot. He received a white rocking horse, which I adorned with different silver and blue ribbons, a rainbow stacker, a pull-along Peter Rabbit, a personalised Peter Rabbit keepsake book and a baby blue Baghera ride on car.

We were blessed with the weather for Beau's special day - blue cloudy skies and sunshine. We were lucky to get some family pictures taken in my grandparents back garden - a place where I made many fond memories as a child and although I'm not sharing them all here, it was lovely to get them taken and I plan to put them in a scrapbook for him.

I can't believe our baby Beau is one!
