How To Make A Statement With Your Entryway

When it comes to your interiors, you may find that there are some rooms that you get swept up with more so than others. No matter where you like to spend the majority of your time at home, we all love to have those few rooms that are our favourites to decorate and will always be the ones that we want to give the most attention to. These are normally the kitchen and the living space. But that doesn’t mean that some of the smaller, less important spaces should get overlooked – like the entryway. So if you’re looking for some design work to be doing this year, maybe it’s time to make a statement with your entrance?

Start Outside
To begin with, you need to head outside. Because when someone first visits your home, it begins at the very front of your house. Make sure that you give the area a good tidy up and maybe even add some nice plants around the door. You may even want to give the driveway a good clear up too.

Choose A Statement Door
Then, you’re going to want to turn to your door. Of course, the outside and entrance to your home is actually a huge part of your entryway décor – and one of the main features of that is your front door. So if you’re really keen to make a great first impression with your home, you’re going to want to take a look at some front door ideas and see what is going to fit with your design style. With this in place, you can then move on to the interior options.

Organize The Hallway
Now, inside, you’ll want to make sure that everything is looking tidy and organised. If you know that you have clutter, like shoes and coats, just lying around, it can look so messy. So, instead, you’ll want to think about how you can tidy things away and keep it looking clear and organised.

Add Statement Pieces
From here, you’re then going to want to make sure that you’re able to think about the different ways you can lift the room up. Once it’s looking the part, you are going to want to make sure that it’s also nicely decorated and good furniture can help with this. Whether you want to go for a marble console table or a statement mirror, or even some faux flowers, it’s nice to pick out something dramatic. That way, the space looks like a feature and not forgotten about.

Have A Clear Path
Finally, you’re then going to want to make sure that you have a clear path from your entryway. If you have things blocking the space and upsetting the flow, you may not be able to make the style of statement that you want. However, when you’re able to know exactly how you’re going to lead people into your home, you may find that things are much easier for you to show off and guests will be so impressed with how your home looks.
