Happy Saint Patrick's Day! ♥

Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

This is, without a doubt, the quietest Saint Patrick's Day Ireland has ever had. We're almost on lockdown, with no parades, gatherings or pubs to enjoy, but it hasn't dampened the eternally optimistic Irish spirit.

The boys dressed in green this morning and had their own little parade of sorts with the sheep down the field! While I was taking these pictures of Beau, Tyler was too busy trying to catch his favourite lamb!

I've also seen lots of positive, fun and happy Saint Patrick's Day offerings from other Irish families on social media and how uplifting it is to see everyone having fun despite all that's going on in the world.

Beau couldn't have been more delighted with his little green balloon. One of the positives of being stuck inside is that I've time to actually go through boxes that have remained unpacked for years and I'm finding lots of things to keep the boys happy and entertained - the balloons and Saint Patrick's Day gear being some of those things.

Happy Saint Patrick's Day from my very own little leprechauns and I!

Beau is wearing Maxomorra Tigers from Rainbow Kids Boutique, denim dungarees from Lindex* and ombre wellies from Regatta*.

  1. Happy Saint Patrick's Day to the entire Family in Ireland, but of course most special to you Fiona, Jacek and Tyler and Beau. He looked so smart in his little hat and dressed in green. There is a small Irish Community in South Africa and they usually celebrate this special day every year, but not this time, as all public gatherings and celebrations are cancelled or postponed like all over the world this year. We hope you had a quiet but still pleasant Saint Patrick's Day. Greetings from all family in South Africa.
