30 Things I Learned In 30 Years ♥

Today is my 30th birthday and I can honestly say that I don't feel this age at all. In my head I'll forever be 19. I wanted to document 30 things I've learned in 30 years, to look back whenever I start doubting myself.

1. What's meant for you won't pass you by.
2. What other people think of you is not your problem.
3. Comparing yourself to others is toxic.
4. You're not like everyone else and that's okay.
5. You like flowers, a lot.
6. You're a perfectionist and it's annoying at times.
7. If you're not authentic, you're nothing.
8. Living in regret is such a waste of time.
9. You enjoy your own company.
10. Some people will never change.
11. The things you've been through will only make you stronger.
12. Fresh air is the best remedy for everything.
13. You're essentially two people in one - light versus dark.
14. Your weight does not define you.

15. It's okay to be a loner.
16. If someone hurts, insults, excludes your children they become dead to you.
17. You are a fiercely protective mother.
18. All you can do is your best.
19. Nights out are not your thing.
20. Fitting in isn't your thing.
21. It's okay to miss people from your past.
22. Spring and summer are the happiest seasons.
23. You don't have time for bullshit or timewasters.
24. Being thankful is classy.
25. You still don't know what you want to be in life and that's okay.
26. If you want something you need to work for it - no one will be your cheerleader but you.
27. You have no time for fakeness.
28. You were made to be a mother of boys.
29.  Photography is the best hobby you ever took up.
30. Slow living is the only way to live.

And with those 30 things in mind I move onto the next decade of my life more confident than I've ever been. It's refreshing to not care what people think of me. I don't know what my thirties will hold for me but hopefully they'll be a lot more positive than my 20s, be filled with adventure and lots of love.
