Antipodes Skincare | Review & Giveaway ♥

*I was sent these Antipodes sets for the purposes of this feature, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% my own.

A quality skincare product was the one thing I really wanted for Christmas. I'll be turning 30 in March and although I think I'm pretty good with looking after my skin, I wanted to get a product which would leave it feeling amazing and looking great.

I was asked if I would like to try out two gift sets from New Zealand brand Antipodes, I decided to give the brand - which was previously unheard of to me, a go and see what it could do for my skin.

When the gift sets arrived I was immediately taken by the packaging. It showed everything that I'm about - natural, nature and all the good stuff.

Each gift set contains three items. The Antipodes Beauty Icons Gift Set (£34) contains Antipodes Kiwi Seed Eye Cream (30ml), Antipodes Apostle Skin Brightening Serum (10ml) and Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream (15ml). Out of this set I have been using the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream each day. Only a little bit is needed, meaning the pot will go a long way and this product has left my skin feeling amazing!

I don't know what I was expecting from the brand as I had read no previous reviews or even knew of any of their products before trying it for myself, but I am seriously impressed.

I wear the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream under my makeup and you wouldn't even know it was there. It's not oily, it doesn't make my makeup slip off my face and it just leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. It's such a lovely product to use and I will definitely be repurchasing to use as my everyday day cream.

To purchase on it's own the Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream comes in a 60ml pot and is €36 - which is a lot more expensive than my usual day cream (I've been using Olay for the past few years), but I'm willing to pay the extra due to how great the product makes my skin feel.

The Antipodes Cult Favourites Gift Set (£36) contains Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream (60ml), Hosanna H20 Skin Plumping Serum (10ml) and Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream (15ml). Out of both gift sets I think this one works out better value wise for what's included.

I've been using the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream religiously each night before I go to sleep and it's lovely knowing my skin is getting some goodness while I'm sleeping. This product is slightly greasier than the day cream, but I also put a generous amount on as it feels so lovely to use.

To buy the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream on it's own in a 60ml pot it's €45 - again on the pricier side of things but really so worth it.

Antipodes skincare can be purchased in Boots Ireland stores. Antipodes products are certified organic and vegan too.

  70. Just taken a look at the Boots website and the Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream really impressed me with all the natural ingredients used. So many other brands have acidic elements to their products which plays havoc with my skin so would love to give this brand a try. Really need to find a good brand I can stick to x
