The Versatility of Hoodies ♥

Hoodies are the best and this is why you'll almost always catch me (and my kids) in one. They’re warm and comfortable, and they are a staple of any wardrobe. You can wear them almost anywhere, aside from that upcoming wedding. Scratch that. You could even wear a flowy hooded cardigan to that relaxed, intimate ceremony. Here are just some of the reasons I love hoodies and you should, too.

The Gym 
In true Rocky Balboa style, you can wear your hoodie to the gym and get your sweat on. Rocky showed us how before it was cool, and now anybody who’s anybody wears their sweats over their workout clothes. Putting a hoodie on after your workout can also help you keep your muscles warm so they cool down more slowly, which is healthier for your body.

The Weekend
Lounging around on the weekend in a hoodie has never felt better. Hoodies are cozy and comfortable for lying in bed, watching movies, doing laundry, or hanging out with friends. This weekend, don your hoodie for some lazy days at home.

The Grocery
No matter where you’re going, if you’re going out, it’s super easy to grab a hoodie and go. Plus, with so many cute designs, you can show off funny sayings or geometric shapes, in a variety of styles like baggy, fitted, cropped, and so much more.

The Nuptials
Don’t go overboard here. No, I’m not suggesting you should wear a hoodie to a wedding. However, you could get away with a hooded cardigan if it’s the right style. It’s a lovely drape on a cool evening and acts as a shawl for your outfit. Hoodies are stylish and versatile. You can wear them with jeans, skirts, work out clothes, or pajamas.

The Kids
Don't forget the kids! Hoodies are a wardrobe staple for my boys and they're perfect for popping over their t-shirts to keep them warm yet comfortable. I always keep a couple of spare hoodies for them in the car for days out, breezy walks along the beach and anything else that they may need a little warmth and comfort for.
