Holly Babies ♥
These are the types of posts I love, where I've snapped some pictures of the boys and share them just for our own memories. It reminds me why I started this blog in the first place - to document all of our family memories, and it makes me want to keep blogging.
Now that Tyler is in school full-time, the afternoons have become our time together. Life has been so busy as of late and we haven't been out and about as much as I'd like. I'm making an effort to change that though - even though the cold and wet winter weather isn't that enticing!
Today I packed up the car with snacks and a change of clothes for the boys, popped their wellies on them and we went out to my parents house to cut some holly from the huge bush growing in the garden. I took this opportunities to have the boys dressed in their festive knits and to capture some snaps - right little festive holly babies they were!
I think this will definitely be the last year I get away with a bonnet on Beau - he's going to kill me when he's older isn't he? I just love his little face with a hat around it though, it suits him so well. A lovely lady named Lesley knitted him this festive set and it's so stunning that I'm going to hang onto it forever.
I have no idea what I'm going to do without a little babe to dress in knits and all the nice clothes - time for another baby?! I don't know if I'm able for another curly haired terror to be honest! The boys have me run ragged these days and I'm in awe of people who manage with more than two kids, I'm convinced they must be superhuman or something!
I'm just glad we got some fresh air. The boys had great fun running around and were genuinely interested in the holly. This basket is now sitting in our sitting room next to fire with lights around the holly. It's a lovely festive addition to our Christmas decor and I always love bringing the outside in.
