What the Boys Wore | TwoGreyRabbits Knitted Romper & Bonnet ♥

Anyone who knows me knows that I love the more classic styles when it comes to children's fashion. I don't think there's anything sweeter than knitted pieces on toddlers and babies, knee-high socks and t-bar shoes in the summer months, classic little rompers and dungarees and beautiful bright or pastel colours.

Sadly, it can be difficult to find lovely pieces for boys in highstreet shops, so when I knew I was having a boy during my first pregnancy, I went in search of some vintage and handmade pieces online, that for me, embodied the classic childhood fashion that was missing from highstreet shop collections.

I have found a whole host of wonderful handmade children's clothing shops over on Instagram - my Instagram is @dollydowsie if you'd like to follow me, and one shop which I stumbled across last year and fallen in love with is TwoGreyRabbits.

TwoGreyRabbits is run by the lovely Miriam who creates all the beautiful knitted pieces herself. This adorable sunny yellow romper and matching yellow and pale blue bonnet is the second creation she has sent Beau - I shared the adorable dog romper she sent him last year here.

The bright yellow against the pale blue is just perfect for spring - and even summer as the weather is slightly cooler here in the south of Ireland, days and I think my boy looks absolutely adorable in his new outfit - a vision of spring!

TwoGreyRabbits knitted creations are nothing short of perfection and are a beautiful alternative to the offerings of highstreet shops. I also think it's lovely to support small business and Miriam deserves every success.
