Tyler & Beau's Easter Basket 2018 ♥
Every year since 2014 I've put together an Easter basket. It's a tradition that I started for my eldest son Tyler for his second Easter and I'm so glad I've carried it on these past four years.
It's lovely to be able to introduce new traditions into our family - an Easter basket isn't something I ever received as a child, and I genuinely love putting seasonal baskets together for my sons.
Included in the boys' Easter basket this year were -
Easter themed books - these were already part of the boys library, but as they only get looked at once a year I like to recycle them. Next year I'll be on the lookout for other Easter themed books.
Peter Rabbit sticker activity book
Cuddledry Snugglebunny hooded bath towel - this is the softest, snuggly and most adorable bath towel I've ever gotten for the boys. Beau was super cosy in it after his bath.
A selection of Easter and spring themed crafts from Baker Ross - these were super cheap and I really wanted to get Tyler something creative to keep him entertained over the Easter holidays.
A Cadbury's Easter egg each.
A small packet of Cadbury's Button each.
A chocolate chick and a chocolate lamb.

Oh yes, Easter baskets are a tradition here in the US, too. My kids would be very disappointed if the Easter Bunny didn't stop by our house LOL.
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun putting together Easter baskets for the kids. Mine are all grown up and now I always buy all the grandkids their Easter outfits and a gift since their moms do their baskets. Cute baskets!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute Easter tree and such a great idea when you have little ones. Keeping family tradition is important.
ReplyDeleteLove how you included books in their Easter baskets. Making them is always fun. We have a egg tree as well in our home.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute and fun basket! Yes, I put together baskets for my kids even though they are older. I generally do gift cards, candy, and small toys!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like such a cute basket! I love all the eggs that you decorated and hung on the tree. That is extremely creative. I put together a basket for my kiddo every year because it's fun to do.
ReplyDeleteI did put Easter baskets together this year. They're so much fun. I love creating themes for them each year. Love your basket!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute Easter baskets. My kids are getting older and it is harder to find things they would enjoy. So much easier when they are little!
ReplyDeleteCute easter baskets! We did it very simple this year. One chocolate bunny, a story book from the bible and a tiny little egg hunt. I was trying to tone down the candy heavy celebration. I love that little duck and your easter egg tree.
ReplyDeleteThat chocolate chick is just so adorable! Love the fact that it's a pale yellow and not in entirely in milk chocolate.
ReplyDeleteThat has to be the cutest Easter basket! I love all the items that you put in it. I love that you added books and some activities for them to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteI do a basket, but it only has one nice item in it and maybe a pack of candy. We do not go all out for Easter, and we do not do the Easter Bunny.
ReplyDeleteI love that instead of just candy and toys you added craft, books, and something snuggly. Creative mom!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been as consistent with my girls as I want to be and I think it would be really nice to prepare an Easter basket for them each year. I love the items that you included in yours!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute easter basket. As a fitness freak (and a new father) I have to say I am pleased not to see too much sugary snacks/eggs in there....he he. Love the chicks :)
ReplyDeleteThat little chick is so darling! I went way overboard for Easter but my kids were sure happy!
ReplyDeleteThese baskets are too freaking cute! My son is 12 and I still prepare a special basket for him every year!
ReplyDeleteOhhh so cool. I love the idea of the cholocate chick and chocolate lamb! And of course the sticker book too. Why am I late to see and read this. Next year I will try to make something like this.
