Sylvanian Families Starry Point Lighthouse | Review & Giveaway ♥

 *We were sent the Sylvanian Families Starry Point Lighthouse for the purposes of this review, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

When I was a little girl all I ever wanted was some Sylvanian Families of my very own, sadly my wish never came true, but now I'm the mother of a little boy who loves playing with Sylvanian Families and it couldn't make me happier to see him play with all his houses, make stories and scenarios for the little characters and play pretend.

Tyler's Sylvanian Families collection has grown by one more lovely toy this week, in the form of the Sylvanian Families Starry Point Lighthouse. This is a new addition to the Sylvanian Families range and it's simply adorable.

The Starry Point Lighthouse has some very lovely whimsical and dreamy features, all with a seaside theme - well, it is a lighthouse of course!

The Starry Point Lighthouse is very easy to assemble. The main lighthouse building comes as one piece, then you simply slot in the upstairs floor, place the step at the front door, slot in the railings and then fit the little pieces.

I was used to the string set up on the boat and the hot air balloon as there was a similar swing with the Sylvanian Families Tree House, but if you're not familiar, it might take a few goes to perfect it and get them to actually stay up!

Starry Point Lighthouse features a built-in shell-shaped staircase with moveable steps, a kitchen with a stove and shell-shaped sink, a whale coffee table, a clam-shell shaped sofa and the hanging boat - which I think is best used as a little bed. The lighthouse also comes with a rope style ladder which leads to the top of the lighthouse, stickers for decorating and the hot air balloon which attaches to a little hook.

I think the most special and unique feature of the Starry Point Lighthouse is it's nightlight projector - this needs three AAA batteries to work. This comes with three projector scenes - a starry sky, fireworks and a very whimsical scene of the moon, stars and some characters having a sky ride adventure on hot air balloon bike. This feature is perfect for playing with at night time as it really does light up on the ceiling.

This is such an adorable addition to the Sylvanian Families range and really promotes imaginative play. Tyler hasn't stopped playing with it since he got it and he fills it up with all his Sylvanian Families furniture (including his beloved washing machine!) and characters and has been having great fun with it.

We love the Sylvanian Families Starry Point Lighthouse, it's such a dreamy little playset and it's perfect for those who love the sea with all it's little fittings and furniture.
