Me & Mine | {October 2017} ♥

Here we are, the last day of October and tomorrow brings a the brand new season of winter. I can't quite believe how quickly this year has passed us by and to already be entering the second-last month of the year is crazy to me.

These past couple of months have been hard for our family. Adulting is hard, working at relationships is hard, but you have to persevere if you want to make things work, even if you feel like giving up at times.

Due to all the turmoil and tribulations these past couple have months have brought us, we neglected to take a picture for August or September's Me & Mine project. I'm quite sad about this really as it'd have been nice to have a full set of year-long pictures, but that's life I guess...

On our recent trip to Doneraile Park we stopped by a beautiful autumn wonderland of a laneway that was covered in leaves, with leaves raining from the trees and there were crisp browns and orange hues everywhere. We balanced the camera on the buggy to take a self-timed family picture, but instead of focusing on us four, it focused on the background - ugh!

As a picture perfectionist this has annoyed me to no end, especially as it was the first family photo where Beau actually looked at the picture, but maybe the background was just too beautiful to ignore and it works? I don't know, but I still like it... kinda. I like it in the below filter too, it gives it an aged look I think.

This month Jacek is loving:
Visiting Doneraile Park again
Making Halloween treat bags to give out to the trick-or-treaters
Watching Forged in Fire
Having a proper lit fire at home in the evenings

This month I'm loving:
Caramel slices
Capturing lots of beautiful autumnal pictures with the boys
Surprisingly sunny days
Becoming a tea drinker (it only took 27 years!)

This month Tyler is loving:
Playing Sylvanian Families
Getting excited for Halloween
Going to school and seeing his friends there
Watching Fireman Sam and superhero kids on the tablet

This month Beau is loving:
Cuddling his beloved teddy to no end
Playing with dinkies - he always has one in hand
Trips to the playground
Walks in the buggy with mummy
