A Summer Well Spent Brings A Year of Content

Oh summer, why did you have to end so quickly? Autumn has now blown in, fiercely and blustery and I'm left feeling cold and missing your colourful hues. The bright and bold hydrangeas are going brown, glorious sunshine is now seldom in between the rain showers and days spent at the beach would now seem brave rather than enjoyable.

I believe that a summer well spent brings a year of content and what a beautiful summer you were. We were blessed with so many warm, sunny days, making it impossible to stay inside and although life was hard for us at times over the last few months, it's impossible not to smile when there's so many beautiful things to look at.

I love summer, it's a time when everyone is happy and for us, as a family, it's a time when we get to see our loved ones and just relax.

I've taken thousands of photographs this summer, never missing the opportunity to document all of our memories, so when I'm old and grey I can look back and smile (and most probably cry that my babies won't be babies no more) at the wonderful days we spent together and all the beautiful memories we made.
