My Summer Style With JD Williams ♥

Today I'm showing off my beautiful new summer dress and skirt from JD Williams. I'm forever wearing dresses, in fact, it's quite rare that you would find me in something other than a dress. So, although I'm not a fashion blogger per say - and I am most definitely not a good model, when JD Williams asked if I would like to choose some pieces from their summer collection, I couldn't help but say yes after seeing the beautiful pieces they had to offer.

THE FLORAL PRINT SPLIT SLEEVE MAXI DRESS

Funnily enough, even though I'm quite a shy person, I'm never one to shy away from a print and my wardrobe is full of bold, bright and patterned clothing. When I spotted this beautiful almost mustard yellow maxi dress with bright flower print all over I thought it was just perfect for summer. The shape is quite flattering as it ties in the waist and the split sleeve detail is lovely - I'm always happy when I can hide the top of my arms. The material is stretch too, making it a super comfy piece to wear on warm, summer days.

THE BLACK FLORAL LAYER MAXI DRESS

This dress just screamed summer to me when I saw it and being a flower lover I couldn't resist the gorgeous print showing lots of different colours. I love how bright the dress is and the layered effect is quite flattering too.

THE BUTTON FRONT DENIM MIDI SKIRT

I don't normally wear skirts, in fact, I don't think I have any in my wardrobe other than this one, but it really appealed to me. I always think denim is a great look for summer and the button detailing down the front is really nice too. I love the stretch back on the waist as it makes it super comfy to wear. I love how long it is and it's perfect for teaming with a top and sandals on these warm, sunny days.

When it comes to skirt shopping, the key is to find one that is comfortable, durable and fun. With that in mind, you cannot go wrong with denim. There are so many denim-skirt options to choose from. They are available in all lengths, and some even include features like pockets or lace accents. Denim is also incredibly comfortable and comes in lots of colors. You can even select from washed denim for a fun faded look or a raw denim skirt with a vibrant color that pops. Denim skirts are perfect for a stroll through the mall, but they are just as fun to wear to the beach or out to dinner with loved ones.

All of the pieces I've featured from JD Williams were great when it came to sizing. I've recently lost some weight and was unsure on what size to get so I went for a 16. I probably could have chosen a smaller size with the denim skirt, but this just goes to show that JD Williams clothing is proper sizing and that's so important to me - I hate when brands come up small.

I love these pieces and have already worn them multiple times in the last couple of weeks.

What is your summer style?

*These pieces were very kindly sent to me by JD Williams, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. This is not a paid post.
