I ended up getting him an adorable little crocheted elephant. The poor child probably has more than enough cuddly toys, but I couldn't resist this one as he's rather adorable. Beau was also in need of a second sleeping bag and when I saw this star and cowboy print one I just had to get it. It's perfect for the winter and he's super snug in it - LOVE!
I'm a big fan of Kiehls and have been loving the benefits their amazing products have had on my skin ever since I won a lovely little box of goodies from them on Twitter a few months back. I use the Kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser everyday in the shower and it's fab for giving my skin a deep clean.
Last week I found out that they're now opening a store in Cork too which will be part of Debenhams on Patrick's Street - yay! To celebrate the good news I was very kindly sent Kiehls Creme de Corps body lotion and Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream, both of which I've been using everyday. I love Kiehls products, they leave my skin feeling soft, nourished and glowing. Definitely a brand to check out if you've never used their products before.
This week I was informed that One4all gift cards can now be used in Penneys - yay! All just in time for Christmas too and I'm quite pleased by this as we always get a One4all gift card or two at Christmas and now I can pick up some gorgeous things in Penneys with them.
The lovely people at One4all very kindly sent us some lovely gifts and a gift card to spend where we wish. I just love the little heart lights and the family photo frame, both have that shabby chic look which I'm a huge fan of. They also sent some lovely little clothing bits for Beau, including his first ever festive jumper, so sweet!
I was inspired by Emily Quinton's talk about digital photography at Blogfest and have been trying out some flatlays for my Instagram. It's been quite fun searching around the house for props and it's made me rediscover my postcard collection - I was a snail mailer for many years and collected thousands of postcards from all over the world, most of which are quite pretty so it's a shame to have them stowed away in boxes.
Seeing all the postcards again has made me want to log back in to my Postcrossing account again and send some postcards - I always loved the anticipated of seeing what address would pop up, although it was almost always Belarus! I'm not quite sure I can justify the postage costs anymore though, a stamp was so much cheaper back in the day - yep, I felt very old writing that!
*We were sent a box of gifts from Penneys and a One4all and Kiehls in exchange for sharing the news of their new ventures, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
I am like you is always have to purchase something for my nephew when I go somewhere and usually it's at the airport. I have not tried Kiehls products before but they sound awesome.
ReplyDeleteI learnt that Penny's is actually primark in England lol it shocked me when I was in Dublin earlier in the year
Postage was so much cheaper back in the day! I miss the days of snail mail. My cousin has letters we wrote to each other when we were teens. She's kept them all these years. Everything you shared today is beautiful and I'd love to try the Kiehl's products.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! Thanks for the Kiehl's info, we have one around the corner, and I need something for deep cleaning. As far as London, the local chocolates are to die for in my opinion, try their regular stuff, it is better than here in the US because of different preservative laws!
ReplyDeleteOh wow what a gorgeous round up of goodies, I haven't used any Kiehls in ages but I've always loved the things I have tried I really should get my hands on some more!
