I love finding new brands and gorgeous clothing to dress the baby in and I get even more excited when the brand is organic and fair trade. One brand that ticks all these boxes is Sense Organics.
Sense Organics is a German brand and their pieces are absolutely gorgeous. Each item they sell is fair trade and is Global Organic Textile Standard certified too, meaning that not only is the brand ethical, it's also incredibly environmentally-friendly and as a consumer these are things I love to support.
I chose two beautiful pieces from their baby range for Beau, which actually go perfectly together to make one adorable little outfit - the Hugo Baby Knit Romper (£37.50) and the Marcel Baby Knit Hat (£12.50), both in the grey melange colour as grey is a favourite colour of mine.
The quality of these pieces is fantastic, you can just tell by feeling them how well made they are. The knit on the romper is beautiful, with a cable knit style on the front and the knit is thick, meaning that it'll be perfect for keeping my little babe warm on these cold autumn days.
The Hugo romper has buttons instead of poppers and I think this is a rather lovely touch, in my opinion it just makes the romper look more luxurious. It's a footless romper so socks will definitely be required with this when we go out and about.
The Marcel Hat is just adorable, with two little pom poms hanging off the tie strings and another little bobble pom pom on top. Once again it's a great knit and I think Beau looks adorable in his little hat. He seems to love this one too as he plays with the pom poms on the strings. His hat is size medium and is a little bit larger than what he needs right now, but I'd always rather baby pieces were too big rather than too small.
Both of these pieces have washed really well and have come out still looking as great as they did when they were new, they have also kept their shape - something which is important to me when it comes to knitwear.
I'm super impressed with the Sense Organics range, as I said, the pieces are beautiful and I wouldn't hesitate to buy some more of their pieces for Beau. The price may be a bit steeper than other kids clothing brands but you're paying for quality and that's definitely apparent in the Sense Organics pieces.
*We were sent these pieces for the purposes of this review, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
Gosh Fiona, these are so beautiful! What absolutely gorgeous baby clothes. You can tell from the photos, how wonderful the quality is. (And what a perfect model you have to wear them too!) Must make a note of this brand for my little chap's arrival. x
