Me & Mine | {September 2016} ♥

I've decided to take part in the Me & Mine linky this month, a lovely linky started by Dear Beautiful, all about capturing a family portrait at the end of each month.

We have no family portraits, bar one which was taken many moons ago and I've decided that it's high time that we changed that.

Unfortunately Jacek isn't in this months picture as we don't have a tripod and there was nobody around to take a picture, but Jacek did take the picture, so I guess we can say he was involved in some way, right?!

Investing in a tripod is high on my photography wishlist and Jacek says that "maybe Santa will bring it for you", but hopefully I can get my hands on one before then so that he can be present in next months photo too.

I really want a nice family portrait of the four of us and I think taking part in the Me & Mine project is a perfect way of remind me to get one each month.

September has been a lovely, busy month for us. We've been making the most of the last hints of summer sunshine by getting out and about, having a family stroll in the woods and taking Tyler to try and find Capn' Turbot in the lighthouse down in Roches Point. Lets hope October is just as lovely for us.

This month Jacek is loving:
Watching every episode of Narcos one after the other.
Having a kid free weekend.
Nights in front of the fire.
Getting an award at work.

This month I'm loving:
Celebrating our 5 year anniversary - mojitos!
Enjoying sunny days outside as a family.
Meeting with friends and having a good catch up.
Getting over my bloggers block.

This month Tyler Lee is loving:
Being back at school and starting Naíonra.
Making new friends and playing with old ones more often.
All things Paw Patrol!
Trying to find Capn' Turbot.

This month Beau is loving:
Playing on his new play gym.
Trying to sit up.
Having giggles and fun with everyone.
His new musical mobile.

  1. Lovely photos, a tripod is definitely a great investment although I must admit to sometimes forgetting it and looking all around for things I can stand my expensive camera on whilst having a mild panic something will happen to it! x

  3. Ahhh bless you good for you for joining in... I don't always have a tripod with me for our captures either. Sometimes we end up putting the timer on my camera and leaving it on the ground and laying on our stomachs looking at it or taking a selfie with my iphone just to get us all in. or propping it on a tree. The funny places I have set a camera to get us all together...one even on a strangers front bumper of a car lol Even got caught ahahhaa Gorgeous black and white captures hun #meandmineproject
