One thing I've struggled with after having a baby this time around, is finding beautiful, baby appropriate clothing for him. When my eldest was born there was an array of beautiful baby boy clothing available, both online and on the high street, lots of pieces in my favourite baby blue shade and full of lovely embellishments and gorgeous designs.
This time around, however, I've struggled to find any baby blue coloured clothing, finding just two brands which both had just a handful of pieces which I would have been happy to dress my baby in. I was met with lots of black and white options - black being a colour I would never dress a baby in and the usual stereotypical boy clothing offers of dinosaurs, animals and garish colours - all of which I hate.
So when Mamas & Papas got in touch and asked if I'd like to feature some of their baby boy clothing on the blog I was curious to see their offerings. I must admit, I wasn't even aware that Mamas & Papas did clothing, but I'm so glad I've now discovered that they do because their offerings are gorgeous!
The Mama's & Papas clothing range has that classic look which I was looking for, with lots of muted colours (including my favourite baby blue!), knitted pieces and lovely patterns such as clouds and stars - I was in my absolute element choosing some lovely pieces for Beau's wardrobe.
I decided on three different outfits, the first being this gorgeous Cloud Zip All-in-One. I just couldn't resist the cloud print and grey is one of my favourite colours so I knew that I'd love this on Beau. I thought the zip up front was a nice detail and quite different to the usual poppers that you see on babygro's. The material is stretchy too meaning it's nice and comfortable for babies to move about in. This is now only €12 too so I'm going to get him another in a bigger size, I love it!
As I said, grey is one of my favourite colours, so I also got Beau this beautiful Grey Knitted Romper. I thought this would be perfect for the winter months and the detail on it is just beautiful, it feels rather lovely too. It has that classic look which I like when it comes to baby clothing and it'll keep my baby boy warm, snug and stylish when the colder days arrive. This is now just €19.20 which I think is quite reasonable for such a lovely piece.
The final piece I picked for Beau was this beautiful Blue Knitted Romper. I couldn't resist the baby blue and once again the knit is so lovely on this, it's perfect for the colder months. I think this looks quite smart and will be a lovely outfit to dress him up in when we're out and about. This romper is also just €19.20.
I'm so happy I discovered the Mamas & Papas clothing range, the pieces are beautiful, of great quality and are quite reasonably priced too. I'm definitely going to be buying some more pieces for Beau from the range, because, lets be honest, I can never resist beautiful little baby clothes...
*We were sent this outfits for the purposes of this review, however, as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.
