Polarn O. Pyret | Kids Rain Jacket & Tractor Print Kids Top ♥

It's no secret that I love children's fashion, finding fun, unique and great quality clothing for my son is quite important to me and I love featuring our fashion finds here on the blog. Polarn O. Pyret is a brand which I've recently fallen in love with, their mix of fun prints and classic stripes are very appealing and so stylish on the little ones, so when Tyler Lee was given a chance to review one of their new summer prints and a classic striped raincoat from their collection I was absolutely delighted.

Polarn O. Pyret is celebrating 40 years in fashion, so it's clear that this is a brand loved by parents and little ones alike and it's not hard to see why. The clothes are of fantastic quality, generous sizings and have that mix of functionality and fun which, in my opinion, all children's clothes should have. I love the fact that a lot of the Polarn O. Pyret range is unisex and that the clothes that are aimed at boys are just as lovely as the ones on offer for girls - a big bug bear of mine is when boys fashion is an afterthought, but Polarn O. Pyret have definitely catered well for the boys too. I am absolutely in love with the prints available in the baby range too, they're so playful!

Although it's now summer here in Ireland (May 1st always marks the start of summer for us), it's still quite cold and the weather is very changeable, so when it came to choosing items from the Polarn O. Pyret range for Tyler Lee I had to go with things that would be practical and not too summery - and aren't I glad I did as these pieces have been great for the weather we're having lately.

I chose the Tractor Print Kids Top (€27.90) for him, which is a lovely bright blue long-sleeve top with fun tractor print all over. He was so happy when he saw the tractors on this and couldn't wait to wear it. The top is made from 100% cotton, something I always love to see in children's clothes and it has dye lock technology which keeps colours bright even after multiple washes and lots of wear.

I also chose the Kids Rain Jacket (€39.90) in the classic red and white stripe and this is the perfect jacket for little ones who love to be outdoors jumping in muddy puddles and exploring the world around them. The jacket has soft fleece inside the collar for comfort, is wind and water resistant with welded seams, has elasticated cuffs, has reflectors for viability and poppers for easy dressing. I got Tyler Lee this jacket in a size 2-4 and it's so roomy, it'll do him for quite a long time - which is always great when it comes to children's clothes. I love how long the coat was on him and the hood actually fit - it seems that hoods are often an after thought on children's clothes and are far too small, so it's great that this rain jacket is actually fit for purpose. He reminded me of Little Red Riding Hood whilst exploring the woods in it.

I'm so impressed with Polarn O. Pyret, it's great to find clothes for little ones that are both stylish and fit for purpose and I can definitely see myself buying more from their ranges in the future.

*We were sent these products for the purposes of this review, as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own.

  8. That's a gorgeous rain coat, and N would be very jealous of the tractor top. I never think about Polarn o pyret because there's no shops near me/it doesn't crop up for online shopping, but their outdoor basics are so good.
