Tyler Lee and I were recently asked if we'd like to join the #FrugiFamily, and being lovers of children's fashion we of course said yes. We were delighted to be picked as the Irish bloggers for the #FrugiFamily 2016 and hopefully you'll enjoy the gorgeous clothing we'll be sharing with you all in the coming months.
Frugi is a very popular (dare I say 'cult' due the various Facebook groups I've come across designed for swapping and selling on Frugi clothes which no longer fit your little ones!) clothing brand amongst parents and it's not hard to see why, so many people love Frugi! Their fun, bright and unique pieces embody the joy and spirit of childhood. Frugi's pieces are made from soft organic cotton too making them super comfy and perfect for all weathers and activities that little ones may want to partake in.
As part of our #FrugiFamily role we were asked to chose one item from the spring/summer 2016 range to receive and review. Green isn't a colour I have dressed Tyler Lee in before, bar his St. Patrick's Day outfits, so for something a bit different we decided on the Zip-Up Hoody which comes in a field green with a camper van applique on the front. The hoody immediately gave me a beachy vibe and as we live on an island and spend a lot of our time by the sea I thought this hoody would be perfect for keeping Tyler Lee warm, snug and stylish on our outdoor adventures.
The hoody is of fantastic quality, the fabric feels super soft and quite thick - perfect as I hate when things rip easily, they're no good for an active little boy. The hood is of a generous size too which is great as I find some brands make the hoods on their clothing too small for actual use. The Zip-Up Hoody also comes with two front pockets, perfect for keeping cold hands cosy and snug on colder days. I got Tyler Lee the hoody in a size 3-4 years which is perfect for him as it still has some growing room, it's a good, proper size for his age and has kept it's size, shape and colour after washing - always a bonus as you can really how good quality things are by how they hold up in the wash.
Also from Frugi Tyler Lee is wearing the Little Fal Applique T-Shirt, which is a sweet short-sleeved red and white Breton stripe t-shirt with a campervan applique on the front also. I thought this went rather well with the Zip-Up Hoody, I just love how bright and playful the two pieces are together. The Little Fal Applique T-Shirt is £16 and is available from sizes 0-3 months to 3-4 years.
The Frugi Zip-Up Hoody is £32 and is available in sizes 2-3 years to 9-10 years. Both the hoody and t-shirt are available to purchase from the Frugi website.
If you're looking for even more Frugi loveliness then why not stop by Michelle's blog What Mummy Thinks to see what she chose for her little one as part of the #FrugiFamily too.
A big thank you to Frugi for asking us to be part of the #FrugiFamily, we are loving our fashionable role and look forward to seeing more of their fun and colourful collections throughout the year.
