I have such fond memories of the Easter egg hunt I did for him last year in the exact same woods, looking back on the pictures makes me so happy and I can't believe how much he still looked like a baby back then, I miss that little babe. You can see the pictures from last years woodland Easter egg hunt here, they're some of my favourite pictures ever.
This year we were very kindly supplied with some delicious chocolate from Cadbury, in the form of the Easter Egg Hunt Pack, chocolate bunnies and Mini Eggs Easter egg - which was Tyler Lee's big surprise at the end of the hunt. The bunnies and little eggs dotted amongst the decorations on the ground made for such a fun touch.
I also used a beautiful Easter Hunt Kit from My Little Day for some of the decorations, this kit is so beautiful that I'm going to be reusing it every year and the signs are made out of plastic so they won't break either. My Little Day have such beautiful decorations for all occasions, their Easter range this year is just gorgeous.
I also picked up some decorations in Dealz and hung eggs from the tree branch, hung my Easter bunting between the trees and stuck glittered eggs into the ground, I thought all the decorations looked quite whimsical in the woodland setting. It's so simple to create something magical for your little ones out of a few decorations and things you have lying unused at home and I love the photos I captured, the woods really do provide the perfect photographic backdrop for our hunt every year.
Tyler Lee had so much fun collecting the eggs and bunnies in his little Easter bucket. He couldn't wait to dive into the bucket and eat some of the yummy chocolate once he had gotten his hands on it all, he was adorable to watch. I love the photos I captured this year too, especially of him smiling, happy with his collection of choccies!
I'm already looking forward to next years hunt where we'll have not one but two little ones to entertain! Until then, I'm so glad that our little boy had a fun woodland Easter egg hunt again, hopefully the memories will last a lifetime for him and if not, there's lots of pictures for him to look back on.
