Kokoso Baby Coconut Oil | Review ♥

Tyler Lee and I very kindly had a pot of Kokoso Baby coconut oil sent to us recently and I was excited to get to try this product out on his delicate skin. First up, can we just take a minute to appreciate the lovely packaging of this product, I love the pop of purple against the white and I think it looks like such a lovely skincare product, one I'd be very happy to have in the nursery - it's always a bonus to me when products are pretty as well as beneficial to us in some way.

Kokoso Baby coconut oil is a product that offers a wide variety of purposes and is incredibly nourishing to the skin. The coconuts used in this product are organically grown and are free from any harsh processes such as bleaching, making this a natural and pure product that I was so happy to get to use on my sons skin.

The product itself comes in solid form, which melts underneath your fingers to allow it to be applied to the skin. I think the fact that it's a solid coconut oil means that the product doesn't go to waste, you only use as much as you need, there's no spillages or overflow (unlike some other baby oils I can think of) and a little goes a long way, meaning that this product gives great longevity and fantastic value for money.

As I stated above, there are a variety of ways that you can use Kokoso Baby coconut oil and here are some ways that I've used the product on Tyler Lee:

Baby/toddler skin moisturiser - this product is perfect for nourishing the skin and if your little one is like my Tyler Lee and is prone to patches of dry skin, Kokoso baby will work wonders for their skin. This product leaves his skin soft, supple and best of all, he smells amazing after I put this on his skin. It's not an overpowering smell of coconut, it's just a lovely scent that lets me know his skin is being nourished by something pure.

Nappy change ointment - Tyler Lee is not yet potty trained so I took the opportunity to try out Kokoso Baby coconut oil as a nappy change ointment. This product worked wonderfully keeping his bottom soft, free from redness and because it's an oil rather than a cream, it worked as a barrier for his skin. It's the perfect soothing product to use on baby/toddlers bottom during nappy changes.

Face oil - My boy always gets a stubborn patch of dry skin on his face, especially during the colder months and nothing ever seems to work to clear it completely. I tried Kokoso Baby coconut oil on his cheeks and it helped to reduce the redness, dryness and soreness that he had on his face. As the product melts into the skin completely after use too, he wasn't left with any oily residue on his face and didn't mind me applying the product again and again.

Massage oil - After my boys bath time I like to give him a soothing massage, I find this helps him to wind down for the evening and settles him for sleep. Kokoso Baby coconut oil works amazingly into the skin and absorbs quickly so it's perfect for the little ones. As I said above it also smells amazing, it's such a joy to use on babies and toddlers skin.

Kokoso Baby coconut oil is just £7.99 a pot - which I think is amazing value as the longevity of this product is fantastic, so it really is great value for money. You can buy a pot for yourself from your local Boots store or online via the Kokoso website. I shall be purchasing another pot for the new baby's arrival in May as I think using something so pure on a newborns skin is an essential.

*I was sent a pot of Kokoso Baby coconut oil for the purposes of this review, as always, all thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% my own.
