Can we just take a minute to appreciate the uber gorgeous packing on the
Hynose Golden Top Coat Mascara Gel* please, it's amazing! It features the classic black Lancome mascara packing but it's been dipped in gold glitter. It just oozes decadence, luxury and most definitely has a festive vibe to it.
This product is a clear gel infused with sprinkles of golden glitter and is designed to be applied over black mascara to create an amazing, twinkling eye look. The product itself is very light in texture, in fact, you can't feel it on the lashes at all after you apply it so it's perfect for those of us with sensitive peepers. The effect of this mascara gel is very subtle, there's no way you can end up looking like a glittered mess (remember those horrible glitter mascaras of the early 2000's - this is nothing like those!), instead you get a gorgeous eye look with hints of golden glitter, it really is so perfect for Christmas and New Years Eve parties.
I shall be sporting the Hypnose Golden Top Coat Mascara Gel all the way up to Christmas, I just love it! Plus, it's always a great feeling to be able to use such a gorgeous looking product too, I can't get enough of the gorgeous packaging.
Lancome's
Artliner in Bronze Orfevre* is the perfect companion to the Hypnose Golden Top Coat Mascara for creating that perfect festive eye look. As you can probably guess by it's name, this is a bronze coloured liquid eyeliner but it's also infused with sparkles of golden glitter. It's just gorgeous!
The Artliner dries super quick too, so no need to worry about any smudges - especially if you're a bit clumsy when it comes to applying eyeliner like myself! The Bronze Orfevre really is such a gorgeous colour and once again the glitter is subtle so it can be worn on a daily basis. The tip of the eyeliner is the perfect width for creating smooth, sleek lines. I think it's actually impossible to get a bulky line with the tip.
I really think these two products compliment each other so well and make for a gorgeous, glittering festive look. Lets face it, who can resist a bit of glitter when it comes to Christmas time? I know I can't, especially when it's golden. All that glitters is gold as they say and that's certainly true of these two Lancome products, as always, I've been left super impressed by Lancome's offerings. The quality is always fab and there's something so luxurious about using their products on a daily basis.
