Oskar&Ellen | Teepee Soft Toy ♥

I really love unique looking toys for Tyler Lee and any time I find a shop or a website which stocks unique, fun and beautiful looking toys I'm always delighted - especially when his birthday or Christmas is coming up! I've never been a big fan of overly popular or plastic toys and although my boy does have a fair few of these also, I prefer to have wooden, retro, unique and beautiful looking toys on display in his room and in our living room - which has been taken over by all his play things since he was born. I recently became aware of oskar&ellen, a family run company based in Stockholm who have an adorable and innovative range of soft toys which all encourage children's imagination through role play. I'm all for role playing toys as I love anything which helps my son explore and grow his imagination. It's safe to say that I'm in love with the oskar&ellen range.

The teepee itself is of fantastic quality, as are the characters and pieces featured within it. It's very soft and light, making it ideal for carrying around - it even has a string loop on it for hanging up. The teepee stands at 35" tall making it the perfect size for a proper, imaginative playtime, it also includes "wall painings" of a horse, bear and wolf - it's very sweet.

The attention to detail of the four Native American Indian characters included is amazing. Their clothes are embellished with fringing, threaded details and the Chief even has a colourful headress.

I think my favourite character (apart from the horse!) is the little girl, I love her little boots and pigtails, as I said, the attention to detail on each character is just perfect and so thoughtfully done.

I really love the horse, it's the toy Tyler Lee plays with the most out of the ones included in the teepee, he even gives it kisses!

Tyler Lee's favourite part of playing with the teepee at the moment is the tidying up of the characters, horse, boat and fire - this boy is cleaning obsessed! He likes taking everything out of the teepee then popping them all back in and closing the velcro-close door. The characters and pieces included are actually meant to be stored in the teepee, which makes sure that nothing gets lost and everything is in it's rightful place for playtime.

I'm seriously impressed with oskar&ellen's teepee soft toy and am now looking to get Tyler Lee some more of their gorgeous toys, notably the Noah's Ark, perhaps it'll be on his Christmas list... only Santa knows!

The oskar&ellen teep is £32 and you can find the full range of oskar&ellen toys on their website, where you can also purchase their products in their webshop and a full range of stockists are available to view here.

*We were very kindly sent the oskar&ellen teepee soft toy for review, however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are 100% our own.

  1. This set looks lovely, it is the kind of thing I used to play with when I was a child. My 4 year old is more into pushing trains around a track though and pushing cars about rather than imaginitive play like this. Im going to pop over and see what they have though. x

  2. Wow, that's incredible detail. My daughter loves imaginative play (birthday parties for her monkey are a current fave) and gets all her animals and figures involved, so I think she'd love something similar. Must check them out.
