Sleek | i-Divine Oh So Special Palette ♥

The newest addition to my makeup collection- Sleek i-Divine Oh So Special Palette.

I really don't need anymore makeup palettes but I just can't resist getting a new one, especially when they're a bargain price like the Sleek i-Divine Oh So Special Palette was in my local pharmacy, just €9.99 for this little beauty - I couldn't leave it behind for that price! I've never used any Sleek makeup before bar a lipstick I got of theirs from Dealz - another bargain at just €1.49 but having used both these products I'd sum Sleek up as being a bargain brand with high-end quality.

The palette comes in Sleek's signature black casing with their logo on top, it also includes a large mirror in the lid - something I always like to see in eye shadow palettes as it's just handy for application. It also has a double ended wand but I never use these, I much prefer my proper makeup brushes.

This palette contains twelve shadows and has a great mix of colours from the lighter pinks and beiges to the darker plums and greys, this palette really does have something for everyone and all you need to create a range of looks. The shadows are also a mix of matte and shimmer shades which is great to have in a palette, I think this gives more variety for day and night looks. The names of the shadows are quite sweet and have a celebration/party type vibe to them which is quite fun.

Top row swatches left to right - Bow, Organza, Ribbon, Gift Basket, Glitz and Celebrate.
The pinks and beiges are my favourite offerings the palette, I always prefer the lighter shades as I think the darker ones just look too heavy on my eyes. The shadows really do look pretty in the pans and I'm glad the pigmentation seems to be fab in them all too bar Bow, which, as you can see, is far too light for my skin tone. Organza and Gift Basket are my favourite shades from the top row, I'd actually wear these during the day. Glitz would be a great night time shade too. I think Celebrate may be too dark for me and Ribbon is a shade I have yet to wear but I really do like the coral pink colour it has.

Bottom row swatches from left to right - Pamper, Gateau, The Mail, Boxed, Wrapped Up and Noir.
My favourite shade from the bottom row of the palette is Gateau which is a gorgeous rose gold colour which I can see myself wearing a lot. As you can see Pamper and The Mail are also quite light for my skin tone which is strange as I'm Irish and quite fair skinned. I do find the matte shades in the palette quite dry but they do blend well which is great for teaming them with the shimmer shades and each other too.

Overall, I really did like this palette, I think for €9.99 it's well worth the money and has something to suit all skin tones. It's great that there's such a mix of shades available within the palette and it's so versatile with colours suitable for both day and night time looks. The shades are quite wearable (bar Noir and Celebrate for me but that's just personal preference) and I think they also offer fab dupes for some of my favourite - and more expensive, Urban Decay shadows, notably Glitz for Gunmetal,  The Mail for Buck, Bow for Virgin, Boxed for Hustle and Gateau for Sin - as I said above high-end quality at a bargain price when you consider that the Urban Decay shadows are €18 each, that's double the price of this palette alone!

I really am impressed with this palette and am now curious to the offerings of the other Sleek i-Divine palettes so I might just have to go and purchase some more.

What are your thoughts on the Sleek i-Divine Oh So Special Palette?

  1. I love the bow color eyeshadow. I also prefer the lighter pinks, unless I am doing some fancy eye color to go out or something :) I really like the slim palette case and that it comes with a mirror attached. I would probably use it for other than just putting on my eyeshadow!

    1. I think the lighter pinks are far more wearable too. Oh yeah I'd use the mirror for doing all my makeup.

  3. I'm using the Natural palette at the moment, but think next time I'll go for this one. looks similar but love the pink colours in the one. x

  4. I really like how the cover of the palette says the names of the different shades. I feel like sometimes with different makeup companies the names of the shades are just on the boxes, so as soon as you open the packaging you forget what the names of the colors are. My favorite shades from this palette are bow, ribbon, and pamper.

  5. I have heard so many youtuber's talk about the Sleek products. This one would definitely be added to my collection since I'm such a huge fan of neutrals. But unfortunately I don't wear eyeshadow often (I feel like it ages me - and I know that sounds silly but I have just < 5 palettes I know how to use, and I don't want to add any more to the collection) lol.

The colours swatch so beautifully, they don't look chalky or dull - so pigmented! And what a bargain.

  6. These are all so pretty. I don't wear make up often, but I would love to venture into more make up and colours. These would be perfect. I have heard some great things about Sleek. I couldn't tell much of a difference but I can tell you these are all gorgeous. I love the dark brown, that is most definitely my color.
