Finding My Signature Parfum | Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice ♥

One of the things on my bucket list 2014 was to find a signature parfum and in the last week of the year I did. I've had infatuations with perfumes in the past, Dolce and Gabbana 'The One' and Chanel 'Chance' mostly but I've never stuck with them - mostly due to memories of the person who bought them for me (isn't it strange that certain scents can remind us of people?) but anyway... I wanted to find my signature parfum, something which I thought the scent really was 'me'. When shopping with Jacek after Christmas I wanted to get something special for myself out of the voucher the lovely people at Debenhams very kindly gifted me with and their large selection of perfumes were calling for me. When I saw that the Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice box set of parfum and body lotion was on offer I just had to have a spritz.

I absolutely love the branding of this perfume and all the Vivienne Westwood perfumes in fact. The pin-up type girl learning on the gorgeous bottle, which comes with a blue heart on a gold chain around the bottle neck, really does give the sense of a 'naughty' Alice and I think that's really fun. At first I didn't take to the scent and initially walked away from it but strolling around the city the scent lingered and really grew on me so I had to go back and get the box set. This scent is one which has to settle after spraying and after that the scent is amazing, one I really can't get enough of now.

Naughty Alice is described as a floriental fragrance - such an apt way to describe it. It has floral notes of black rose, violet and ylang ylang mixed with warming hot pink pepper. The scent has a musky element to it too which really does give the 'naughty' aspect. I think it'd be a great scent for nights out but as I don't get many of those I've been wearing it daily.

I really love this fragrance, I can't even put into words how much I love it (not great for a blogger!) and I've now decided that this is my signature parfum from now on. The Alice in the name reminds me of Alice in Wonderland - a story which I love all things about and the fragrance is just perfect for me - not too floral, not too musky, just a right mix. This is a perfume which I'll be repurchasing again and again and I don't think it'll be too long before that time comes because I can't help spritzing this multiple times during the day, the scent is infectious and I love how it lingers on the skin.

I picked up the Vivienne Westwood Naughty Alice box set in the Debenhams sale for just €47 - such a bargain.
