Okay, I may have a problem when it comes to buying Yankee Candles... following on from my new additions to my Yankee Candle collection post I then went and got eight more candles, oops... In all honesty though I only bought two of these myself and they were discounted as they're 'fragrance of the month' and the rest were Christmas gifts from Jacek so that makes it okay, right?! I think he's getting into the candles too because he's been lighting them when I'm not around - at least our house is smelling great this season!
White Christmas - "There's a quiet holiday beauty in this blend of woodsy evergreens and cool, freshly fallen snow". I had seen this candle when browsing for the festive scents but I had never seen it in the stores in my city so when I found this small jar candle, the last one in the shop, I just had to have it. It's such a lovely fresh scent which has quite a peaceful vibe to it. You can buy it here.
Christmas Eve - "Traditional holiday scents of a warm hearth, sugared plums, and candied fruits". I had this candle last year and loved it! I actually wanted to get this in the medium jar as I'll only be burning it on Christmas Eve and maybe Christmas Day evening too but they had none left in that size (serious Yankee Candle shortage going on in my city this year!) so I had to get the large jar. At least this will keep me going for many Christmases to come and I'm read so many reviews stating that this is a lot of peoples favourite Yankee Candle fragrance ever. You can buy it here.
Magical Frosted Forest - "An enchanted place where icy breezes playfully dance through tall, snow-coated pines".
This is my second jar of this scent, I had to pick up another as it's limited edition and was also the last one in my local store. This is another really fresh scent which is quite similar to the
Christmas Wreath Yankee Candle I picked up last year. This one really
does smell like a walk through a cold forest. I really love the label on
this one too with the Christmas Trees. You can buy it here.
Snow In Love - "Fall In Love with this delightful blend of creamy, comforting woods and wintry powder freshness". This fragrance is currently on offer as it's one of the fragrances of the month. I had this candle last year too and I love it. It has a powdery scent to it and is so calming. I actually burnt my last one all year round and this will be the same. You can buy it here.
Santa's Candy Castle - "A palace made of fruity gumdrops where dreams come true for kids of all ages". This is also my second jar of this and was the last one left in the shop too (I think my city has got the Yankee Candle obsession too!). This
is a really Christmassy scent but I really don't get the 'fruit
gumdrops' fragrance in this at all. It is, however, really nice for
Christmas time and the scent fills up the whole house - something which I
love. You can buy it here.
Icicles - "The crisp, winter forest scent of ice covered pine branches with tingly notes of spicy cinnamon". I loved this scent the minute I smelt it so I was dying to get the candle. It reminds me of a garden on a cold winters morning, it's so fresh smelling. I also love the robin on the label. You can buy it here.
Lilac Blossoms - "An alluring grove of lavender, white, and deep purple lilacs". I had never seen this candle before (or else I was just too busy looking at the festive scents!) and when I smelled it I thought it would be lovely for burning once spring comes. It's such a lovely floral scent and really does smell like flowers in bloom. You can buy it here.
Christmas Memories - "From the heart of the kitchen, unforgettable moments are brought home again with this comforting recipe of spices and sweets". This is a true Christmas scent and from the moment I lit the candle the room filled up with the smell of festive spices, it's so Christmassy. This was also discounted as it's a fragrance of the month. You can buy it here.
Sparkling Snow - "The crisp, naturally fresh scent of gleaming, snow-covered pines with hints of patchouli and fruit". This was also the last candle of this scent in my local candle shop and I think it was stock left over from last Christmas. This is such a pretty candle with glittered wax, it's a shame to burn it really. This is another fresh scent with the hint of snow-covered trees. You can buy it here.
I also picked up some various wax tart melts but I can't show them as they're gifts for people. I think I'm all candled out at this stage and won't be getting anymore for a long time! It's nice to have different candles burning each days and I love having lots of them lighting in the evenings as it's so dark, they make the room even more cosy with the Christmas tree lights twinkling and all the flames burning too.
Do you love Yankee Candles as much as I do?
