Another week on my XLS-Medical weight loss journey has passed. This week hasn't been an exceptionally good one for me as I've been sick - burning up, sore throat, just feeling awful in general, I think it's a cold but hopefully it will shift very soon. Due to being so sick I haven't been out doing my walk up and down hills but I have been out for walks with my toddler son in the woods and around the gardens of a historic house and I think running around after my boy is probably the best exercise I can get! To make up for the lack of strenuous exercise I've been watching what I eat religiously. I've been using the My Fitness Pal app to keep track of how many calories I've been consuming and burning off and I have been under 1,300 calories every day. I have an allowance of 1,500 calories a day but due to being sick I haven't been feeling like I want to eat. I've also been drinking gallons of water, about seven pints a day but I'm feeling better for it. I'm eating a lot of high protein foods such as eggs, beans and chicken but have been so surprised at how many calories there are in some healthy meals, for example, two slices of wholemeal toast and a can of baked beans in tomato sauce is 500 calories, I couldn't believe that. I'll be on the lookout for some healthier beans this week.
What the sachets look like.
How the powder looks. I actually love the texture of it and the berry flavour.

Since I began taking XLS-Medical Direct Fat Binder I find that I have so much more energy than I normally do. I've been getting up before the baby most days, which was impossible for me before. I think since I began taking the sachets I've become so much more positive in my weight loss journey. I'm sticking to my healthy eating, taking the sachets after every meal like I'm supposed to and I feel as though I'm getting the results I want, slowly but surely at least. So what are my results?
This week I have lost 3lbs which is a total of 5lbs lost so far. It's been stated by my nutritionist that I should be losing 2lbs a week and I have done better then that this week so I am delighted! I am well on my way to my goal of 2 stone weight loss.
As for centimeters, I've lost a total of 17cm centimeters this week. I'm absolutely delighted with that.

ReplyDeleteI love the My Fitness Pal app. I use it every single day, and it really helps me make sure I'm putting good things into my body. Those higher-calorie but healthy foods are definitely worth it! It's surprising how much better you feel when you use your calories for good foods, than for lower-calorie foods that don't fill you up.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your walking! :)
ReplyDeleteKeep of the good work. I hope you get feeling better soon!
