Books, Books & More Books ♥

It's safe to say that Jacek and I have a bit of an obsession when it comes to buying books for Tyler Lee. We both think that books are so beneficial to him and thankfully he shows a huge interest in all the books he has, regularly taking them all off the shelf in his room and having a browse through them. He gets read a story before every nap and at bedtime and seems genuinely interested in listening to us read to him, wanting to always look through the books himself when we're finished reading. It's no surprise then that we've already accumulated quite a large library for him already but last week Jacek added to it a bit more with some more Halloween themed books and another Richard Scarry book too, a personal favourite of his from his childhood. We now love getting Tyler Lee themed books to go with the holidays or seasons, it's fun picking them out for him.

We've already made our way through Spot's Spooky Fun which is a simple board book for babies and toddlers to enjoy and I'm halfway through reading him Hubble Bubble The Super-Spooky Fright Night which revolves around the story of Pandora, her friends and her Granny Crow who's a witch. I've yet to begin reading him The Worst Witch but will hopefully have that finished by next week. I'm loving all the Halloween themed books and you can see the other two and the autumn themed books we've read to him lately here.

The Richard Scarry's Best Bedtime Stories Ever is going to be part of a fun little project I'm putting together for Tyler Lee in the run up to Christmas. I'll be featuring it on the blog when more things arrive for it so keep an eye out for that in the coming weeks.
