On Saturday I captured my boy in the arms of his Daddy as they strolled through the woods. This week my boy became a proper little toddler to me and to see him up in his Daddy's arms looking like a proper little boy instead of a little baby made me happy. He looked so cute as he was carried along, looking in awe at the wonder of the nature around him. His Daddy was teaching him "one tree, two tree, three tree" which Tyler Lee then repeated and pointed at accordingly - so flipping cute! I love this shot, the way the sun is highlighting them both amidst the darkness of the woods is so beautiful to me.
On Sunday I caught my boys picture when he woke up from his nap. The lightening sadly wasn't the best in his room but I love the little smile behind his eyes. He's been such a tired little pup this week and has become more and more attached to his dummy, it's all down to the three teeth he has popping up at once, my poor little pet.
It's becoming increasingly hard to get a picture of Tyler Lee during the day now as he just moves away too fast and never stands still so I can imagine that A LOT of his #Project365 pictures will now be taken from his cot. I caught this picture of him on Monday night before he went to sleep, once again I love the smile behind his eyes.
On Tuesday my beautiful boy turned 19 months old and I caught him eating his first apple by himself out in the orchard of Barryscourt Castle. I loved him in his little vest with his chevron bow-tie, I think he'll have to start wearing bow-ties more often!
On Wednesday I caught a picture of my boy and I together after his bath. Just before this he was laying his head on my shoulder as I carried him in my arms, he was so still and peaceful from his nice, warm bath. I loved how his hair looked after I conditioned and combed it, it's so curly!
On Thursday I caught another picture of my boy before bedtime and this time he was looking at his 'Love You Forever' book. Everyone always comments on how he carries his dummy tucked in under his bottle lip and I caught this picture of him playing with his dummy in his mouth again. He's always flipping it around, it's so funny!
On Friday I caught my gorgeous boy in the bath. I captured this shot on a whim and I love it! I find it's always the off-hand, random shots which are the best. I love his smile and head of curls, I think he's so handsome. I've said it before and I'll say it again, black and white photography suits him.

ReplyDeleteThank you so much Rebecca :) xo
DeleteI'm always so glad when I find other Irish blogs, even more so when they have kiddies! Tyler Lee is a little dote, I love the curls! My own sons hair is this curly when it's drying after a bath, but then settles down and he only has them in the back... I wish they'd stay a little longer!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read more!

ReplyDeleteYou capture your son at the perfect times. I love action in the moment shots, they're so much more special than staged shots. He's going to really appreciate you when he gets older and can look back on these.
