I am taking part in I Heart Snapping's weekly
Living Arrows project, a photography project to capture an image which
represents the magic of childhood through a parents eyes through the actions, likes, dislikes, looks
and movements of your own children. Below is
my picture for the thirty-seventh week of Living
Arrows. That fifty-two week mark is just getting closer and closer more rapidly now.
On Saturday Jacek had a day off from work so we made it a proper family day. It was super sunny, summer definitely hasn't left us yet, so we went for a lovely lunch and sat outside, it was glorious. We then decided to go for a long walk in the woods. Tyler Lee was running along with us, holding our hands and skipping along but after awhile his little legs got tired so Daddy decided to pop him up on his shoulders. We've only tried this with Tyler Lee once before when he was much younger and he hated it but this time he absolutely loved it - as you can see from the big smile on his face! He was laughing and giggling so much as his Daddy ran along with him up high on his shoulders. Tyler Lee was reaching for the trees and all the branches which we hanging down, he thought it was the best thing ever. I love the light in this picture, I love how smiley the boys are and I love that I captured a gorgeous picture of father and son again, I hope they'll always have such fun and laughs in each others company.
After getting lost we eventually found the path which leads down to the beach and once again Tyler Lee went straight for the water and went paddling, the cold really doesn't phase this boy. It was such a perfect way to spend a day, looking at my two boys being so happy and enjoying the beautiful nature around them.
I have a picture just like this of my hubby & son. That son just got married two weeks ago. Enjoy! Life moves so fast.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo. My OH won't be photographed at all. So it means there's no proper (or even semi decent) photos of N with his dad. Really sad.
