I am taking part in I Heart Snapping's weekly
Living Arrows project, a photography project to capture an image which
represents childhood to you through the actions, likes, dislikes, looks
and movements of your own children. As we were away last week below are
my pictures for the thirty-sixth week of Living
Arrows. The 52 week mark doesn't seem so far away now, scary!
I have three pictures for my Living Arrows this week because it was so hard to choose one and I think they make a nice sequence together. My boy and I went to visit some friends in Wexford and these shots were captured on a beach in the charming little seaside town of Kilmore Quay. My little one loves the beach and ran straight to the water, the cold sea didn't phase him one bit and after these shots were taken his sat down on the shoreline, got completely soaked and had to be stripped off, even being naked didn't stop him delving into the cold water!
I love the first shot as Tyler Lee is standing right in the middle of the Saltee Islands looking out to see. The other two shots are just beautiful to me. I think the sun glare off the water looks like he's making magic with the waves and the different colours of the water mixed with the foamy shoreline are just gorgeous I think. I love how much he loves the water, he is such a little beach bum and I hope his love of the seaside never fades, he is an island baby after all.
These are really beautiful pictures, I love the first where he is stood literally in the centre of both parts of land. The lighting is beautiful. What a lovely place to visit x
