It's time to take stock a little bit, to see what I am currently up to and how things can be improved. I saw this post on Girl Brooks blog and thought it would be a fantastic way of keeping record of my life, it's happens and all the things I've been doing.
Making: Poetry, see the above image for the first poem I've written in years. It's simple, not the best and I could probably do better but I wrote it in two minutes and it fits my thoughts right now perfectly.
New blog posts which are being saved to drafts, they're awaiting pictures but I love being organised with blogging. Plans for the future, the future has been on my mind a lot lately and if I'm honest, the unknown scares me.
Cooking: These past few days I've been making chili con carne and tomato and bacon pasta bake, both are some of my favourite dinner choices. I do need to get more creative with my cooking and try new things though, sweet potato chips are first on the menu!
Drinking: Water, both still from the tap and sparkling with lemon and lime and pomegranate.
Reading: Lots and lots of new blogs and finding so many that are both inspirational and beautiful. Winnie the Pooh: The Complete Collection of Stories and Poems to my little love at his bed time.
Wanting: To get married, a big hug, a new Tangle Teezer (unruly hair!), to have fun!
Looking: Forward to Christmas. It's never too early to be thinking about the 'C' word is it? I need to get preparing. Etsy here I come!
Wasting: Time browsing the net, checking my non-existent emails and refreshing Facebook like there's no tomorrow.
Wishing: He was here. That things were different. For happiness. That I was sitting on a beach looking out to see, the sun warming my skin, the gentle breeze blowing my hair.
Loving: My curly haired boy. He steals my heart more and more everyday with his beautiful presence. The longer, darker nights, Lighting a candle under my oil burner in the evenings, this time of year is so cosy.
Smelling: Like summer. I'm still using my Shiseido Zen Sun which has fragrances of cherry blossoms, bergamot and mango. It's the bottle that never stops giving, I use this everyday and hardly any liquid has left the bottle!
Noticing: Just how amazing the world is. The fact that there are so many time zones blows my mind! I could think about these things all day and still be in awe.
Lusting: After Michael Kors stunning rose gold watches! I've seen so many of my fellow bloggers sporting one recently and I think the gold colour is perfect for autumn. Love!
