Daisies In May ♥

 We needed to get out of the house and Jacek had a day off work so it was a perfect excuse to do so and get out in the fresh air. The weather here has been so changeable lately, sunny one minute, raining the next, it's been a pain and the reason why my boy has been confined to our garden all week for his outdoor space. We took him to some local gardens which I love as there's so much space to explore, perfect for a curious little toddler, lots of beautiful flowers in bloom and most importantly it's peaceful with not many people. We stopped by one of my favourite areas in the garden which to my pleasant surprise was covered in a carpet of gorgeous white and pink-tinged daisies, I loved it. Tyler Lee went exploring, picking at the daisies at one stage, sitting amongst them the next, his daddy and I clicking away at the camera, making the most of the beautiful backdrop which we had at our advantage. I never realised how much I liked daisies before but I really do, they're so pretty! I even had a go at making daisy chains, something which I hadn't done since my primary school days. It was great to spend a peaceful afternoon sitting on a tree stump, listening to bird song and watching my boys explore the surroundings with one another. Days like this are absolutely bliss, they remind me just how important family is and how much I'd love to spend at least one day like this every week. Unfortunately that's not always possible but hopefully this summer we'll have lots of perfect family days and appreciate all  the pretty daisies in May.

I'd like to point out that the pictures featured were taken by both Jacek and myself. Thankfully I've a partner who enjoys one of my passions in life just as much as I do. I love having his contribution on my blog, especially when it's about our beautiful son.
