I think anyone who knows me knows that I love taking pictures. In fact, I probably take on average twenty pictures a day and fall in love with almost all that I take which makes it so hard to choose a favourite for frames. I don't like to have my pictures sitting in closed albums, I like them to be on display where I can look at the image and remember the memory surrounding me capturing it. One way I love to display my pictures is on canvas and I recently added two more canvases to my home decor from Photobox.ie. I opted for their classic canvas which is a great quality canvas with a 3.8cm thick, sturdy frame printed on polycotton canvas making it fabulous quality. I choose one of my favourite images of my boy amongst the daffodils and opted for the wrapped type layout, I love the result. My canvas is 30.5cm X 20.3 and was just €24.49 on offer which I think it a great price for such a fantastic quality canvas. This canvas now sits proudly on Tyler Lee's bedroom wall, it's gorgeous and the print is of the highest quality.
The second canvas I chose was the collage canvas and this was one I really enjoyed putting together. There are many layouts to choose from and I choose the three big/three divided sections layout which I thought looked rather lovely. It was really easy to put my canvas together on the Photobox.ie website too which is great as I can't abide fiddly websites that are a pain to use. The collage canvas comes in either canvas classic or canvas lite and I chose the lite as it has a thinner frame and is much cheaper, meaning I could get a bigger canvas. I opted for the largest size 76.2cm X 50.8cm which was €44.99 on offer which again is a great price for such a lovely addition to the home. This canvas now sits proudly in the sitting room and is such a talking point. I love looking at all the images and I was even able to add text to the canvas. I choose the quote - "Happiness is only real when shared with those you love" on one of the big pictures of my boys and I. I love this canvas.
The only qualm I had with my Photobox.ie experience is the postage prices, I think €18 for postage and packing is very steep. Also, I wouldn't have minded too much if this was for next day delivery but it took five days for my canvases to arrive which I thought was quite long considering that they were printed and packed the day I ordered them. From what I could see on the tracking it was the courier company Yodel keeping my canvases in their warehouse that held things up but still I wasn't very impressed with that.
Overall, I am very impressed with the quality of my beautiful new canvases. The print is fantastic on both of them and they really add to the rooms they're in. I would use Photobox.ie again but just wish I could choose a different postage option. You can browse the items I bought and more in the Photobox.ie range on the Photobox.ie website.
